Developed as my senior capstone project, See Without Sight is a 3-in-1 charging station designed for visually impaired Apple users. The project was driven by user research exploring the wide spectrum of visual impairment, from complete blindness to partial perception of light, color, and shape. To create a more intuitive charging experience, each device location is defined by a unique geometric form, allowing users to identify charging positions through both touch and limited visual cues. Customizable LED lighting communicates charging status, while braille markings provide tactile guidance for users with no vision. The project demonstrates how thoughtful, human-centered design can improve accessibility while maintaining a clean, modern product aesthetic.
